Illustrated with charming semi-erotic deco vignettes and occasional plates throughout. Called by many lesbian poetry, first published in 1894 with Louys claiming to have discovered this contemporary of Sappho -- at the time it fooled many scholars and now is known as an example of "pseudotranslation."
