This is a Very Good (Minus) copy of the First American Edition. Tan paper-covered boards with a black cloth spine; titling and decorations in gilt. Within are "The Tents of the Arabs," "The Laughter of the Gods," "The Queen's Enemies," and "A Night at an Inn." Clean text; 207 pages. Charming bookplate on the front paste-down and a contemporary (1917) gift inscription on the FFEP. Very slight external wear, but the front gutter has cracked.
