Albert Whitman & Company, 1946. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good Dust Jacket. This old book with dust jacket is clean, solid and in great shape! This oversized, thin hardcover book has many bright color illustrations. The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. There is a dedication written on the top of the second end paper. The pages are otherwise clean with no soiling or tears. The copyright page shows 1946 as the published date. This is definitely Not a former library book. There is a price of $1.00 on the DJ flap. The dust jacket is over 99% intact with some very light chipping on the corners and spine edges, light soiling and there is a three-inch closed tear on the top of the front next to the fore edge. I have placed a fresh mylar jacket on this old book and it looks and feels great. We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box!

Interior pages have some smudges and general wear. Only a few library markings. Dustjacket is missing front flap, but covered in clear Brodart jacket so displays nicely. Dj does have some chips and light wear. The girls find a white dog they call Mike, but Mother says he belongs to someone else so they can not keep him..
