Hardcover published by Modern Library, 1942. Collection of four plays; The Children's Hour, Days To Come, The Little Foxes, and Watch on The Rhine. Identifying first Modern Library copies can be tricky since the copy right page is generally not updated with each edition. Toledano binding style #8 - with the torchbearer figure below the title field on the front cover board. This one does appear to be the first though as there was just the one edition before the volume was updated with two additional plays in 1960 - The Autumn Garden, and Another Part of The Forest. 5" X 7-1/8", 330 pages. The green cloth covered boards are flat, bottom right corner is worn and exposed, the remaining corner tips are just slightly worn.
