Description:
A very good copy of the scarce 1903 first edition of Leadbeater's excellent book. Topics include 'telepathy and mind cure', 'magic', 'the unseen world' and 'the use and abuse of psychic powers'. Pages are really good and make this copy special: clear, bright, remarkably crisp. There is a previous owner's inscription (see photo) and literally one page with a very small tear/nick, otherwise almost perfect. Black pastedown and FEP are in place and in great condition. Binding totally firm. Front cover is very nice, with the golden letters bright and clear. Spine, likewise. Overall some are wear, with a little corner crumpling and a few inevitable marks here and there. Generally, though excellent in this scarce edition: the best example of this edition we have seen. No DJ, as published. See photos all of which are of the copy for sale, we don't use stock photos
