Defects to note are rubs at top and bottom of the spine and at the corners with faded gilt titles. Internally the book is clean, tight and unmarked. Book is a complete history of the Twelfth Engineers: MOBILIZED at St. Louis, MO., June 1917 EMBARKED FOR FOREIGN SERVICE July 28, 1917 RETURNED TO UNITED STATES FOR DEMOBILIZATION April 27, 1919 MUSTERED OUT AT CAMP FUNSTON May 16, 1919. Recruitment was from railroads with connections to St. Louis. Mainly from Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, Texas and Oklahoma. Includes the roster of men with the addresses for each recruit. Black and white photos with several crisp foldout maps. 307 pages including the Index of names with original members being in bold type..
