With 14 (of 15) folded engraved maps and plans, 29 (34) engraved plates, some folding. A few scattered brownspots. printed on good paper "A capital Compendium. Contains well-digested narratives of the voyages and discoveries of Columbus, Ulloa, Dampier, Kolben, Rogers, Drake, Pocock, Nieuhof, etc." (Sabin, 38163).

Maps by cartographer Thomas Kitchin, about whom Wikipedia says, "He produced 170 maps for London Magazine (174783)...
