Covers are lightly rubbed, with light foxing on endpapers and in margins of a few pages, small, faint crease at top corner of two pages, else a lovely near fine copy with the color plates fresh and bright. The cover illustration depicts two dolls, one in a red dress, and the other in blue, each holding a "Votes for Me'' banner. A suffrage-themed story for children about two Dutch dolls who are recruited to join the suffrage movement, attend suffrage meetings, and battle with the police, followed by an encounter with the Prime Minister's car, resulting in their arrest, imprisonment and a hunger strike.
