This is a barely saved 1922 copy of Dr. Blackford's analysis of the phrenology and physiogramy of everyone from Woodrow Wilson, through the average Joe (Lesson XVI), and beyond into the fringe element (Lesson XVII). Very rare, the book has been subjected to a fair amount of water damage, but is still a bound, viable, and fascinating  READING copy of Phrenology run amok.  Twenty-eight photos at the close of cranial types best avoided in daily life.  Undoubtedly collectible, this copy was owned by the family of Philadelphia publisher, J. H. Byram.
