Circa [1929].. [1929].. Good. - The pictorial front panel of the dust wrapper for "Sacrifice", 7-1/2 inches high by 6 inches wide. Inscribed and signed to the left of the image "To Seymour Halpern / with my regards / Owen Johnson". The inscription is in black ink on a dark green background, but is legible. The panel is lightly rubbed & there is a small piece out at top left, affecting 1 letter of the title. 2 heavy creases where the panel has been folded for mailing have been reinforced with linen document tape on the verso. Good. <p>The dark green dust wrapper panel depicts the full-length figure of a woman in black, green & white. She apppears to be drawing into herself and is holding a long coat or cloak wrapped around her.
