Smaller but thick book, dark brown half-leather with brown mottled cloth boards, gilt illustration of child reading Bible and gilt design on front good, raised spine with gilt-tooled design and title very good, cloth at bottom back torn from back bookfold edge middle to near bottom back edge closer to spine then badly creased. pencil notes inside front cover, small scribble in margins of pages 1 and 4. Covers are badly worn and loosened from spine except for back cover. Fair.

Laflin from Her Father, January 1, 1868); (vi), 320 pages; (iv), 320 pages; with folded frontispiece to Volume I, and with engraved title pages to each volume, and with engraved plates throughout.~~Grace Laflin was the daughter of Addison Laflin, who was a Representative from Massachusetts in Congress. His daughter Grace was born in 1857, and died in 1914.~~. Very Good binding.
