Per Wikipedia, Elizabeth O. Hiller (circa 1856 – August 14, 1941) was a prominent early twentieth-century American author of cookbooks and a professor of culinary arts. She penned a variety of columns for several different publications, and her series of calendars of recipes was published into the 1930's. This particular publication is bound by string ties, which are now orange in color, worn and frayed at the ends. The pictorial wrappers are faded, soiled, nicked and scraped on edges, with creases to the lower corners. The pages of recipes are age toned. Interesting recipes such as "Stuffed Egg and Tongue Sandwiches," "Kumquat, Marmelade and Cocoanut Sandwiches," and more oddities, and standard old-time favorites. Unpaginated.
