Illustrator: Chesley Bonstell. the dust jacket is rubbed at each of the eight corners, and has slight chipping with loss at the head of the spine and rubbing and creasing at the head and tail of the spine, pages are darkened with age, no other damage. The author considers the future of the universe, rejects various theories that the universe is itself gradually running down and dying, and prefers Hoyle's theory put forward in 1950 that new galaxies are still being formed and the process of ghostly information can go on forever.
