Four volumes have their original publisher's brown paper shipping wraps, with the sets name on the front panels, and a round cut away over where the volume number is on the spine. Condition of the shipping wrappers range from Fair to Very Good, some have tears at their crowns and feet. The cloth of the 5 volumes varies from poor to Very Good (Volume 1 has water damage on the rear board), small sunned circles on the spines where the shipping wrappers let through the sunlight. Used - good - Complete 5 Volume set - overall an excellent set for 1941 publication - covers show some use wear and aging to color, fading along spines - volume 4 has a small blemish on the front cover that has been covered with a paint like product in a similar color to the original (see last photo) - Vol II has a blemish or wear to the cloth (see next to last photo) - page edges show foxing and some soiling spots - all have sound binding - no internal markings or names
