Nostalgia Press. Cloth. A Very Good Copy/Very Good. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall. 2 volumes with all pages in original rich colors as Foster drew and colored them. Much of Hollywood's recreation of the Middle Ages was based on the imagry created by the artist. He became famous for his illustrations of Tarzan in the Sunday colored comic pages but he wanted a bigger subject rooted in history and thus created Prince Valiant from which graphic novels, classic science fiction and modern graphics has emerged. Previous owner's book stamp on volume 1 else a near fine set.
