Loss of about 1/2 inch of backstrip at foot, rear pastedown mostly missing (board exposed), some writing in pencil on front endpapers. Binding sound, text clean. Habermann was a sixteenth century German Lutheran theologian.

Soundly bound and clean with light surface and edge rub to the paper covered boards with a few mild chips to the patterned paper at edges. Prior owner names, Adam Zells and Julian Zells in manuscrip at front and rear respectively. Mild damp stain in the gutter margins of the rear endpages.
