Binding B is blocked in red only, with plain endpapers (not red) and has the matte version of the jacket. It is also much thinner than 'A'. Book is fine, jacket very good with a cup ring mark to cover, some toning to spine. Shows well. Uncommon. Contents clean, no inscriptions, edges and extremities toned, jacket worn, with several chips and tears, uniform sunning. This copy was exported and sold by Dymock's Book Arcade, Sydney, Australia with their neat bookseller ticket to pastedown, price clipped accordingly. Although stated 'second impression, this is actually the third printing of the text (see bibliography). It is the final Cape impression of this novel to be printed during the author's lifetime.
