[Chamberlain, 791.] Fergusson condenses the history of architecture, studying individual European countries, Russia, Turkey, India, and America. Theaters and civil and milita engineering are also studied, with illustrations. Tips bruised, very faint, sporadic foxing, else very good.

Second edition, with 332 engravings; xix, 584pp. Boards are lightly marked, with slightly bumped corners; minor scuffs on spine, with slightly nicked ends. Foxing on page block and first and last two or three pages. Rare instances of insignificant imperfections within, as to be expected from a book of this age, but overall interior is very good condition considering age - all text and images are clean, and binding is sound throughout.
