Two volumes with additional book plates. Volume 1 (1910) and 2 (1914) in hardcover with green cloth. Some scuffing to boards and small defect on front cover of Vol 1 (see picture). Some minor staining on the front and end papers with prior owner incriptions and stamp, "compliments of Abraham J. Palmer 27th District." Volume 1 has a few pages with leaves (flora) present and associated staining - not sure of the intent, but these may be native flora to the bird described on these pages. Occasional pages have some staining throughout; however, bindings are tight and no loose pages are apparent. The book of (loose) plates, dated 1925, is in good condition; the plates are bright and colorful, but have some yellowing and folds near the edges of some. Most (if not all) of the plates are present.
