London : T Werner Laurie Ltd, 1919. First edition. Cloth. Very Good Indeed/Very Good. 9" by 6". None. A scarce limited edition of poems by E L Thomas. Limited to 500 copies, printed on hand-made paper. First edition. The poems were written while Thomas was on active service in France. Though childlike in subject, the poems were not intended for children, and instead as a celebration of nature, and a reflection on the destruction caused by the war. In paper covered boards in the original dustwrapper. Externally, smart with just some browning to the boards and light rubbing. Dustwrapper chipped with light rubbing and sunning. Offsetting to first and last pages, lacking endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with just the odd spot. Very Good Indeed
