This 1861 reprint of three of Dicken's Christmas stories (The Cricket in the Hearth[ continue from Vo. 1], The Battle of Life, The Haunted Man and A Christmas Tree) appears top be a first edition by the James G. Gregory publishing house in its Household Edition series. This is volume two of the two volume set. We are selling each volume separately. Both volumes are in excellent condition. Each volume has a frontispiece protected by tissue. Vol. 2 has very light age toning at the page edges and miniscule wear at edges. Tight binding, although there is a slight split along the seam between the publication and title page. Pages are clean and clear. No tears, marks, foxing or folds on the pages, except for a small fold at the bottom tip of the first endpaper. .
