Department of Agriculture, Victoria, Melbourne, 1906. First Edition. Hardcover (Original Cloth). Very Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. X, 350 pages, frontispiece, 11 full-colour plates 44 black-and-white plates, black-and-white drawings throughout the first section of the book, bibliography, one table, host index, general index, fungus index. Foxing to the edges of the pages, offset tanning of both end pages, small ink stain affecting the top of the first 28 pages, and three of the leaves to a depth of about a half an inch. Corners are bumped, the spine has lost all of the colour, and the front panel is mottled from being splashed with water. Notwithstanding all this, the book is in good order for its age. "All the species known to occur in Australia are included, and when proved to be aliens, they are noted as introduced in the index.
