Contains colour illustrated frontispiece, with black and white plates and diagrams throughout. Pages and plates are mildly tanned and foxed, heavier to edges, but text and art remains clear. Binding is firm. Boards have heavy shelf-wear, with visible corner bumping and noticeable scuffing to edges. Spine is moderately sunned, with visible crushing and splitting to ends. Light rubbing and scuffing overall, heavier to spine.

Visible foxing to text block edges and both hinges are cracked with exposed netting. There is cracks to guttering with exposed netting and binding is loose. Boards have light rubbing and visible edge wear. Notable bumping to corners and heavy crushing to spine ends.

Set in a beautiful armorial school prize binding from the presigious Dulwich College dated 1936 and awarded to a J.R. Jammadge. Includes a frontispiece and plates, illustrations and diagrams throughout. In a gilt half calf armorial binding with cloth boards. Externally, generally smart, lightly rubbed and faded in places. Internally, very bright and clean, with some mild spots to the first and last pages. Very Good Indeed
