Two volume set (of three? ) The Second and Third part of the Institutes of the Laws of England. Full leather. Vol. (2nd part) dated 1680: Front cover, detached, included. The leather is splitting at spine with losses and edges are rubbed/frayed. Covers in poor condition, leather is brittle, peeling and there are losses. The contents are dampstained at first section but still legible and binding is holding. Vol. (3rd part) : hinges are cracked, front cover loose. Leather is worn, brittle, with losses; in poor condition. The binding is holding, and contents are legible with moderate foxing. The Third part is dated 1681.; Folio 13" - 23" tall .

Contemporary calf, blind rules to boards, later tiny label (reading "62") to foot of front board, blind fillets along joints, gilt tooling to board edges, raised bands and gilt lettering piece to spine.
