Dennis Chjiles was a mataure student at Oxford, graduating from Worcester College in 1969. After lecturing in econimics in London for seven years, he returned to Plater College, of which he as principal from 1977 to 1991. In retirement he has become an active member of the Oxford Guild of Guide Lecturers, of which he is now Training Officer.
