The 48th volume of the Lakeside Classics has red cloth covers with sharp gilt lettering and borders on the spine and sharp borders and a Lakeside Press emblem on the front cover. Top edges of the volume are gilt which is still sharp. Inside the front and rear covers of the book there is some age toning. Included with the book is the business card of Charles C. Haffner, Jr., Chairman of the Board of R. R. Donnelley and Sons Company at the time. The business card was kept inside the front covers and has some age toning on the left side of the card. There is a rather large fold-out map opposite the title page which is in near fine condition as well, the upper outer edge having a small additional fold at the upper outer edge. 354 pages, including an index plus a historical introduction by Dr. Quaife, a reproduction of the Original Title page of the book as well as the original dedication and original…
