No owner's name or bookplate. Illustrated with 8 full-page plates, including a frontispiece, by Cyrus Cuneo. (Note: The A. L. Burt edition has only 4 plates). The pictorial, tan cloth cover is quite handsome, featuring a man plowing behind a team of horses. The cover art is stamped in blue, white, and dark brown. A sheaf of wheat and scythe are on the spine. The handsome cover illustration is signed "GWH" but we have been unable to further identify the artist. The publisher's monogram and "October, 1910" appear within a box on the copyright page.. First American Edition. Hardcover. Very Fine condition/No jacket.
