Old neat ink inscription dated 1866 to ffep. A few closed tears and light soiling, but otherwise clean and free of marking and stains. First quires slightly extended. Bound in simple full brown calf. A couple areas of lightening on spine (old tape?). Corners slightly rounded and covers lightly scuffed with minimal loss. Modern recasing. Not in Herbert. A very nice copy of an unrecorded and well printed Victorian New Testament in a simple, possibly American, binding. A nice book.

Pages 47 and 326 misnumbered as 74 and 226, respectively. Final blank excised. Some signatures shaken. Some pages lightly toned. Bound in original full brown leather over thin wooden boards. Covers scuffed with worn corners. This is the edition of 1821, with a new title-page only. Hills 455. A very good early American Bible.
