Vol. 1 includes Berenson's prefaces to the 1957 and 1932 editions; there is no text in Vol. 2 except the title page. The covers replicate the book jackets. In later acetate jackets. Blads like these, for the use of traveling sales reps, were once a common method of promoting illustrated books. Interesting artifacts of publishing history.
