Internally there is a coloured decorative prize bookplate to front pastedown and foxing to closed edges and sporadic foxing to some page edges else clean, tight and unmarked. Not dated nor edition stated but probably a late 1890's edition of the work first published in 1885. 256 pages and 16 page publisher's catalogue. 30 illustrations by M. Dudley. One of Robert Michael Ballantyne's (1825-1894) scarcer novels. An attractive copy in very good condition. A1B. Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. Illus. by Dudley, M. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
