Red cloth binding with gilt titles, sunned and faded especially the spine but remaining neat square and robust. Marbled page edges. Hinge and text block firm, neat inscription to front end paper dated 1895 and an oval blindstamped bookseller mark. Pages a little yellowed but smooth and clean. The frontis piece Alta Italia map has neat taped repairs along the creases at the back, all other maps are untouched.
