Small tears and creases to text block edges. Thumb-marking throughout with occasional brown marks. Text is unaffected. Boards have heavy edge wear with corner bumping. Heavy tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Noticeable splits to spine ends and joints causing cloth to be frayed. Visible marks and scratches overall. Book has a prominent forward lean.

There is a short tear of 0.5 cm to the cloth at the head of the spine. Neat ink inscription to the front end paper dated 1930. Small ink scribble to the rear paste down. Slight splitting to the rear of the book between a few pages - however the book remains tightly bound. Clean and fresh. A very good copy.
