Publisher's orange quarter cloth, with gilt titles to spine, and pink illustrated cloth over boards. Orange endpapers. With the publisher's orange paper-covered slipcase. A fine copy showing just a hint of handling to slipcase. The famous first volume in Angelou's seven-volume autobiography, first published in 1969, and previously published by The Folio Society in 2000 in a different binding, without an introduction or illustrations.
