A full english translation of this book has not been published. Included with the book is a color postcard showing Compagnoni on the summit of K2. This postcard is signed by Compagnoni (not printed, but hand-signed in black pen) on the image side. The postcard is free of writing or marks on the address side, never stamped or mailed. The book is original glossy pictorial hardcover with color summit photo on front. This book was published without a dust jacket (= no example of this book has a publisher's dust jacket). This is the same photo depicted on the postcard, but the image on the book has been inverted (in error, intentionally?) and recolored (in error, intentionally?).
