A novel written by Terrell Garren about his great grandmother's experience during the Civil War in Western North Carolina. A beautiful copy, whose only flaw is the previous owner's name written discreetly at the top of the front free endpaper. 387 pages, with a small selection of old family photos in the back of the book. The pastedowns are maps of much of the entire Southern Region. Dust Jacket now covered with mylar. Mr. Garren is an eigthh generation Western North Carolinian, and makes his living as a commerical writer. This is his first novel.
