Offsetting to free end papers, a fine copy in very good 8/6 pictorial dust jacket with several closed tears to lower front panel, closed tear to upper front flap fold with creases, mild edge wear with slight loss at head of spine panel, several small closed tears to upper rear panel, slight age darkening to spine panel. An attractive copy of a book rarely found in jacket. (30748). Octavo, pp. [1-8] [1] 2-328, original decorated tan cloth, front and spine panels stamped in black, bottom edge untrimmed. Collects fifteen supernatural stories written by Blackwood, all but one expanded from story ideas by Wilson (the original Swede in "The Willows"), including the classic tales "Running Wolf," "The Decoy," and "The Empty Sleeve."
