External dimensions 111 × 75 mm; the artist is identified on the verso in pencil; in fine condition. Peake 1685 (giving the date 1985). Offered together with a linocut bookplate designed by Mark Ferson for his 'Kookaburriana'. External dimensions 117 × 91 mm; in fine condition. Peake 1687 (identifying the artist).
Mark Ferson (1956-) is 'A medical practitioner of Sydney, employed as a public health physician. He is interested in collecting and creating bookplates, largely using linocut and typographical processes' (Peake, page 15).
Provenance: H.B. (Harry) Muir (1909-1992), bookseller, publisher and bookplate collector; by descent. [2 items].
