Blue cloth-covered boards; two colour design on front and spine, gilt titles on front and spine; illustrative endpapers. 12mo. Sun-faded spine, rubbed spine heel, loss to head. Top text block edge dusty, remaining edges tanning. Endpapers and prelims tanning. Presentation plate on front pastedown. Front hinge cracked. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Victorian Christian missionaries tells of their practical work amongst the poor of the British Isles and of their efforts to spread the gospel.
