London: C. Wilson, 1854. iv, 232 pp. Octavo. Two volumes in one. Green soft cover binding. The binding shows signs of wear and has a closed tear on the back cover. Cover and edges are trimmed and somewhat dust soiled. There is some staining throughout. The book is in good condition. This title may be of interest to anyone interested in nautical history. Andrew David, Lieutenant Commander of the Royal Navy, was a previous owner of this book. David was a prominent hydrographic specialist who served with the Hakluyt Society and the Society for Nautical Research. 1854
