About This Item
London: James Imray and Son, 1856. xii, 294 pp. vii, 102 pp. Octavo. Two volumes in one. Blue soft cover binding. The binding shows signs of wear and has a chip out of the spine. Edges are trimmed and somewhat dust soiled. There is staining throughout. The book is in fair condition given its age. This title may be of interest to anyone interested in the nautical history of Texas as it includes scarce information about its navigation from the Gulf of Mexico. Andrew David, Lieutenant Commander of the Royal Navy, was a previous owner of this book and his bookplate is inside the front cover. 1856
