Near Fine/Very Good +. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 133pp. Illustrated w bw stills from the film by the same name. Grey endpapers; ffep clipped horizontally to 2cm, top edge. Red cloth w white lettering on spine. No wear to covers or spine. Binding square and sound. Photo illustrated DJ clean, showing very light shelf wear, preserved in BroDart cover. Small octavo: 21 x 14.5cm. Adapted as a novel and illustrated from the award-winning motion picture commissioned by the Lutheran Church, written by Allan Sloane, and produced in Germany by Lothar Wolff of Louis de Rochemont Associates. "An exciting novel of conflict and cruelty in communist East Germany." (from the DJ). Robert EA Lee (1921-2009) was the head of the Lutheran Church's film production and best known for his 1953 production of the bio-film Martin Luther, and his 1966 Academy Award-nominated film, A Time for Burning.
