About This Item
Hachette, 1852. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good. Rare first edition that is not POD. Green leather spine with 6 raised bands, filets dores, gilt title and author in very good condition with mild wear overall and no obvious defects. The green marbled boards however are considerably worn with large rub marks and rubbed through on edges and corners. Text is in fair condition. Complete and easily readable but unattractive due to extensive foxing throughout. Writing on less than ten pages (one of which is torn). Ownership marks and notations on FFEP and title page indicating this was the textbook used by Gaston Bodin at college Saint Gatien, rue Racine a Tours.
