About This Item
Silver Leaf Books, 1948. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Ullmann, Ernest. Signed. The page opposite the title page has been inscribed by the author thus: "This book is inscribed for Sarah Gertrude Millin on the publication date, 5:30pm, Carlton Hotel, Johannesburg, by Hugh Tracey." Ernest Ullmann, the illustrator, has signed the same page, underneath Tracey's inscription. The dust jacket is quite rubbed and worn, and is reinforced on its back with tape. Despite this, it remains bright and whole. The boards are a touch edge worn and rubbed but remain strong and sturdy. Internally, there are no other markings or inscriptions, and the pages within are crisp, clean and complete. Tightly bound and presents handsomely in cellophane. JK. Our orders are shipped using tracked courier delivery services.
