London: Victor Gollancz LTD, 1969. 157 pages. Signed in name only by the author on the title page. Inscribed by the author to Gary K. Clarke (1939-2019; American zoo director; First president of AAZPA; Safari leader; Author), and dated May 1969. Two different Chester Zoo pamphlets are laid in. Clarke's name and note about acquisition is written in ink on the front paste down beneath the inside flap of the dust jacket. There is also the ink stamped name/address of Clark seen on the blank front free end leaf beneath the author's inscription. Volume is otherwise Fine. Jacket remains bright, clean, and intact, with only slight signs of age/use. Dust jacket is now in a clear Brodart protective sleeve.. Inscribed and Signed. First Edition. Cloth - Hard Cover. Very Good/Near Fine.
