About This Item

Philadelphia: J.M. Campbell & Co., 1843. First Edition Thus. Hardcover. Fair/None. Two works by George Borrow bound together in one book. The covers are very shelfworn with rubbing, bumping, fraying and fading. While the contents have quite a bit of foxing but are clean otherwise with a binding that is still reasonably tight however the front joint is split between the covers and the spine.. The last blank free endpaper is torn in half with a signature in ink. The Bible in Spain is a reprint of the ninth edition.
