First edition 1st printing, Near Fine, unread copy of author’s first mystery. Book has push/bump at top of spine, in a Near Fine jacket with touch of edge wear and several spots of color loss at corners, most significant of which is a 1/16 inch circular spotat lower front corner, a tight unread copy with a publishers promo post card laid-in. Winner of Agatha and Macavity awards.
