Paris: Gallimard (1959). Near Fine. 1959. Softcover. Including the novel in pocketbook format, illustrated white covers, in French. Plus: 3 handbills for a production at Theatre Les Dechargeurs, printed and designed on yellow thin card stock; 2 handbills for Le Studio 43, Un Cinema, Du Coté Des Enfants, printed on both sides for the film Zazie dans le Metro, directed by Louis Malle, with photograph of Zazie (Catherine Demongeot) and her transvestite uncle (Philippe Noiret) ; 2 Studio 43 xerox schedules, week of 22-28, October,1986, printed on blue paper, one a movie schedule, the other for related events; Queneau postcard with his picture, and a quote, with a holograph message and drawing from unknown author on back; 3 handbills for a theatre production of Le Journal intime de Sally Mara, by Raymond Queneau with Sabine Mallet; a 5" by 6" ticket stamped 11 Juin 1955 for Nekrassov, Farce en 2 actes et 8 tableaux de Jean Paul Sartre, with section 'Orch' and seat numbers in blue pen, and last name Queneau in blue pan for presumed ticket holder. Finally, a folding program (6"x4.5") printed on yellow paper for Spectacles de Paris, Semaine du 8 au 14 Juin 1955, with many productions listed but nothing obvious to our untutored eye mentions, or relates to Queneau, and the same with a printed announcement tucked inside for Les Centraux A Versailles, 16 Juin 1955, Orangerie du Chateau de Versailles . . . Diner, Spectacle "Son Et Lumiere", Bal De Nuit. All housed in a custom made box with plexiglass door and a printed paper label on 'spine' Raymond Queneau / éphémères. Book is fine; two schedules with fold creases; ticket with one vertical crease. All else fine. .
