decorative endpapers, yellow top stain, three engravings with tissue overlays(including frontispiece). Binding is generally clean & straight save for three corners which are either curved or bumped. Front & rear hinges are very secure. Half title has a PO's curious stamp plus two names in ink; otherwise the internals are very clean though there is evidence of former exposure to moisture with lower page edges showing staining (albeit very subtly) & slight wrinkling. [full transparency] NB: ppg., 178 & 335 have horizontal tears to foredge and p. xvii has one long vertical tear at the margin(approx 1/2 length of the page).

Last year I shipped a book from here in Illinois to a very small town in Alaska using Media Mail ; total transit time = 3.5 days!! I've ordered twice myself from stores using these so-called "partners"(there's really no choice) just in the last two weeks and my items have just set for two days before even starting to move.
