It was composed and later a group attributed its composition to Ferdowsi. [1] According to the Britannica encyclopedia , this poem was composed at least one hundred years after Ferdowsi's death. [2] The first sources that attributed Masnavi Yusuf and Zulikha to Ferdowsi; That is, Sharaf al-Din Ali Yazdi 's Zafarnameh (828 AH) and then the preface to Baysanqari's Shahnameh (829 AH), were written more than 400 years after Ferdowsi, and before that date, there is no reference or source (such as Nizami Nizami Prozodi 's Chaharmakala and Tazkira Al- Shaarai ) Dolatshah Samarkandi who spoke about Ferdowsi in detail) did not mention such a story.
