Black and white illustrations and diagrams throughout with photographic plate to page 6. Binding remains firm. Pages are lightly tanned throughout, heavier to first and last pages. Illustrations and plate are bright and clear, with some light tanning and foxing to edges. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Stamp to top edge of text block. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Slight crushing to spine ends. Staining and wear marks overall, heavier to spine and front board edge. Book has pronounced forward lean.
